Maple Leafs Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)

A few days ago, it seemed as if the Leafs were headed for one of their lowest goal totals in team history. They were on pace for 214, which would have been the second lowest in the last 20 years, ranking behind only 1997-98, when they registered 194.

The Leafs still won't break any scoring records, but they head into Sunday's game against the New York Islanders with 14 goals in their last three games, coinciding with their first three-game win streak of the season. That included five different snipers ganging up in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers. The Leafs hadn't spread out the offense like that since a 6-3 win over Washington on Dec. 12.

The Leafs' top line of Tyler Bozak centering Nikolai Kulemin and Phil Kessel accounted for four goals and eight points.
